Technically it's still the same dispute from pre-2020. So it was an accurate definition of what it was about until around seven years ago, but things have rather changed since.Oh dear. Not sure how ballots can be in good faith if the name used for them doesn't accurately define what they are about.
Remove the principle of the matter regarding transfer of responsibilities to the driver, I'm not surprised in the specific case of the CAF units that people would be in favour - they are terrible units to work as a guard on stopping services.480 voted for extension of DOO? How many hours a week does this entail? and it's with northern? I'm not with this TOC just curiousIndeed. Personally my current earnings this financial year are on track to breach 50k come end March. I generally work all booked Sundays and a similar portion of overtime, which I don't consider excessive by any stretch (others may do much more). The recent offer certainly falls short by 4k-5k. There's simply no appetite to hand over on a silver plate what we currently have.....for less reward.
