Did any of the stations on the closed Spalding –March line ever get Eastern Region B.R. signage before closure?
Guyhirne (railway spelling) and Murrow West were closed by the B.T.C. in October 1953 but Murrow West was renamed in September 1948 after nationalisation, was this too early for E.R. blue signage?
I believe the remainder (Portland, French Drove and Gedney Hill, Cowbit) all survived till September 1961 when most village stations on the East Lincs and on the Boston–Skegness route closed in the same date as well!

The "Edit" link has been removed from my posts – Portland is a typo instead of "Postland" and "closed in the same date" which I can no longer correct – this should have said "closed on the same date, 11 September 1961".
