Hi, I am looking to book tickets from Manchester to Glasgow for this Sunday 13th. I've tried a few websites but they all won't show prices (some not even showing times). Would anyone know what's going on?

When I am trying to work out which zones i need to buy my ticket for, I dont always know whereabout on the map the station I am at is on the map, hence a simple big circle around the station saying "you are here", similar to the signs on maps at bus stops

Just noticed when i was buying my tickets and was trying to work out zones, that there was no big circle on the map above the ticket machine around the station i was at with a "you are here" sign to help me work out zones etc. Seems so obvious, wonder why they dont have it

Yes. They used to be valid on peak trains aswell, I think they still are.

Yes, there is one arriving now in platform 2 at Piccadilly. (I think it forms the 11.40 to Newcastle). I used the TPE app under 'live times' to check.

A 2 car unit should be enough for the Chester to Manchester part as Northern also have a Chester to Manchester fast service (which continues to Leeds). Maybe if the Chester to the Airport via Crewe train would stop at Styal, demand would be overwhelming :lol::lol: I seem to recall reading a few...

Have a double train split ar Chester with one train going to Manchester and one going to the Airport via Crewe.

Trainsplit.com brings the price down for the 10.05am train (£192.60) to £57 splitting at crewe
