Originator and journey designer in 2011 of the long-running "Closed Stations Journey Quiz".
I suffered from a stroke in July 2012 from which I made a full recovery. My wife developed Vascular Dementia in 2018. On 3rd March 2021 she became a permanent resident in a nursing home, where she died on 8th November 2021. From 2025, I now live in Heald Green.
First website member to reach 100,000 postings on the Quizzes and Games forum and to reach 50,000 postings on a specific thread on that forum.
(At one time, before the previous website major changes came into force, there was once a section that showed how many postings a website member had made in each of the forum sections of the website, but that facility has now been withdrawn).
