    Could someone enlighten me as to the title, I've booked 2 tickets for me and my daughter to visit london so she can go to a uni open day, the tickets say from newcastle to U1 (I booked kings cross) then route = EC & connections, afaik ec means the type of train (inter city etc) does connections...
