Leeds-Sheffield via Wakefield Westgate also seems perfect to me- switch between diesel and electric at Fitzwilliam- and would justify having a slightly larger fleet of them at Neville Hill.

I wondered if it might be possible to convert some unused DVTs for use with RHTTs? I'm not sure how much it would cost to convert the DVTs to work with 66s, or how feasible it would...

If there is an incident (not necessarily just fare dodging) on a heritage line that needs the police, is that the BTP's job or one for the local police force?
Would I be right in thinking that the 325s never actually use their third-rail ability any more- even on occasion? If not, when would they last have run on 750v- would it be 2003?
If it is the case that they no longer run on third rail, have they had the shoes removed, or are they still there...
On the Dearne Valley line (York to Sheffield via Pontefract Baghill):
Mondays to Saturdays departure times:
York: 1015, 1313
Sheffield: 0854, 1159
On Sundays:
York: 1801, 2048
Sheffield: 1613, 1858
The Sunday services don't start until later than the weekday services finish!
