Use service twice a week at least,and although unit is ok the problem is changing from 4 car to2 at Nottingham.Almost always overcrowded,at least to Peterborough.

Thanks Bevan,caught a few 87 hauled in the early 80s but couldn't remember if mark 1s or if they had seating/restaurant/parcels as well. Appreciate the input my friend

Please excuse me if I am missing an already open thread, but I wondered if anyone had any info on the late 70s/early 80s Class 87 hauled sleeper services? In particular the type of stock formations and number of coaches. Many thanks in advance.
