New/unused Wrexham & Shropshire uniform ties for sale on Ebay Item No 170774271880.
These are surplus ties that were never used - seems a shame for them to sit in a draw. All proceeds going to Railway Children Charity.
I can confirm that you are able to upgrade on the train.
Apologies for the long journey times but we consider that people would prefer longer journeys than to have to get onto a bus for part of the journey. When we can divert we do.
Regards
Andy Hamilton
Indeed we did regretably cancel 2 trains on that day due to a parking brake fault on a DVT shortly after departing from Marylebone.
You did not confirm whether you had contacted us for any compensation?

I can find...
We have not cancelled a train in some weeks so I can only assume that you were trying to catch one of the services that Network Rail diverted away from Tame Bridge recently due to signalling cable theft.
I can assure you that we certainly do care and I am sure that if you contact the customer...
Gareth,
With all due respect you are off the mark to suggest that there was/is no business case for Wrexham & Shropshire without Wolverhampton. It would have been very foolish to entier into a business venture and invest millions of pounds on the basis of a hope that the ORR might allow us to...
Only a temporary situation. We are using the Chiltern DVT to allow us to release a Silver DVT to Axiom at Stoke to do the final testing of the new coaches. One of the current sets has now been stood down and will be broken up in the next few days. The DVT will be going to Stoke to test and...
Whilst the predictions of an appearance this week had been our intention, we have had to put that off for a few days. A small number of issues with our loco's over the last few days have meant that the priority has been working the existing service rather than to release a locomotive to carry...
There are 4 airline seats at each end of the standard class coach and these are designated the Priority Seats that are required under the Accessibility Regulations. Hence they also have extra leg room. However we are considering removing one pair of these seats for buggies. We have noticed that...
Yes it is true that you can use any Class 67. However only the silver ones (inc 67029) have an on board fire system which can be triggered remotely from the DVT. This is a mandatory requirement for an unattended (ie when pushing) loco on a passenger train. Therefore when we use red loco's we...
The DVT's have been converted to work with the Class 67. The modification involves a bank of relays which are driven by the controls in the cab of the DVT and send appropriate signals down a multi-core cable to the locomotive at the other end of the train. The logic for doing it that way round...
It is always interesting to see how small seeds of truth get out into the ether and become supposed facts and hypothoses!
The issues with the advance bookings currently are due to a possible timetable change in October. It will be possible for us to introduce an 18.33 service during October...
Some positive news.
Following further representation from ourselves and from "a member of the public" (which I'm guessing will be a contributor to this thread!) ATOC/RSP have now confirmed that their previous advise was incorrect and that in line with our initial assesment "Route Birmingham"...
Just to be clear on our policy:
- Route Birmingham tickets are not valid on our services. No matter how skilled you are in reading the Routing Guides, RSP are the arbartors of this process and therefore for as long as they say it is an invalid ticket - it remains just that, an invalid ticket...
Ben,
I am suprised and disappointed by your comments - you will note from the other comments on this thread that your experience is certainly not the norm.
If you care to contact us direct and tell us which train you travelled on I can investigate to try and establish why you felt you did...
Having read the above I thought it might be useful to give you some direct feedback!
Firstly in respect of travel to Birmingham from north of Wolverhampton and changing at Tame Bridge, we do recognise that this can be a valid route and therefore the Train Manager on this occasion was...
