Yes that’s why they are so many years late in to service, they don’t work very well when coupled together.

No SWR train crew depot there. The nearest will be Strawberry Hill or Feltham

458427 & 458412 were the two units to Bournemouth this morning 5X95 458412 acted as the taxi and worked back to Wimbledon Park as 5Y51

With all the major UK airports charging anything between £7-10 just for a few moments to stop and drop people off, is this fee now out of control and at a point of legalised robbery from these airport owners?

As there is no off setting it runs on a constant thermostat. There are settings the driver can choose, but its impossible to keep the cab temperature constant, the system is always applying heat or cold conditioned air to try and keep the set temperature, but it will cool the cab temperature too...

The whole A/C heating system isn’t good. It’s a nightmare for the drivers as it can’t be switched off in the cab so you’re either sweltering or freezing. The design is also causing problems with air pressure so the guard is having difficulty shutting their local door.
