A course starting on the 19th Feb has been confirmed. Just got my conditional offer through. Anyone else on this course? I assume there will be five or six of us?

DMI completed and passed. Now waiting for a medical. New course starting at end of Feb, maybe? Don't know whether I'll be on it though. Question - is the training course predominantly a Monday to Friday, based at Bletchley, with weekends off???

I notice WMT are looking for a new Trainer, citing the following: "Due to department expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented individual with train driver experience to join the Training Academy as an Operations Trainer." Sounds like it's finally all happening!

New TOC website is here https://recruit.wmtrains.co.uk/applicants and the sign in details are the same as LM. I'm sure everything has been transferred across fine.

Any dates for DMI yet? I am wondering what the time lapse will be between MMI and DMI...

17th? I was only aware of two dates, 18th and 19th, both of which were all booked up. Was there another date made available? Just been on the website but all sheduled assessments are gone now. Frustrating this is! Good luck to all who have managed to get onto Stage Two.

Two new assessment dates on 18th and 19th May, all fully booked up before I got a chance to log on. HR says no new dates planned.. just have to wait...some more...

I emailed LM a couple of weeks ago about when they might be having a stage 2 session (having completed stage 1 in July) and they replied saying nothing before Christmas, sometime in 2017, no dates planned. Patience, as they say, is a virtue!

What is happening? It's been months!

Well, stage 1 assessments completed... waiting to hear if I passed. The interesting thing is that due to the review of the psychometric tests at the end of 2013 the slate has been wiped clean. All failures before that date are forgotten. LM still has the DFFT in there I notice - most other TOCs...

Ahh, yes well I would have done. Thanks for that, I had better get practising the Group Bourdon Test again then!

Received an invite to an assessment centre to complete stage 1. I already completed stage 1 successfully in 2013. Is my previous pass not valid anymore? I thought it remained valid for five years - or does it all depend?

Any idea how long this particular pipeline is?
