Oyster Card Auto Top-Up

Does anyone know why Oyster don't link Auto Top-up directly to a standing order/DD via bank accounts and only link to bank cards? I recently lost my purse and cancelled my debit card forgetting that my Auto Top-up was linked to it and not to my bank account. I was fined on a bus as I hadn't...

We are aware of an issue with emails from the Forum to Microsoft-based email accounts (hotmail/outlook/live.com email addresses). This is being looked into currently, thanks for your patience meanwhile.
