GWR two passengers left behind at Paddington

It's obvious to me, that the others were in front of the Train Manager and he let them on before boarding himself. The two left behind, were behind. Simple as that.

    Dale Charman to leave LUL

There is the possibility that it will become more unpopular in the future. For a considerable number of years, there has been the following agreement: "BAKERLOO LINE No more than 3 round trips in the tunnel section to be scheduled without a break, however 3 round trips plus Elephant & Castle...

Is 5mph the slowest speed limit possible?

With reference to locos fitted with Slow Speed control for discharging wagons, I believe they had a separate speedo that came to life when it was selected, with 0-5mph as the whole range.

Saturdays and Sundays should be inside the working week for drivers at all TOCs (not just some as at present)

Saturdays are part of the working week at all TOCs. Saturdays are of course more likely to reach the saturation of annual leave quotas due to the items discussed by bramling above. Weekdays likely only use all annual leave quotas during school holidays, with Christmas being the most notable...

But also with Sundays NOT in the working week: Great Northern (which is in the south!) Thameslink, and Southern - which is in the MIDDLE of South Eastern and South Western(!) Eurostar - of course! I knew I'd missed one! Well actually, I'd only included the publically controlled or franchised...
