Hi guys,
Hoping someone might be able to help me. Looking to get a new laptop and thought I'd spoil myself a little. The main thing though I really want to play TS2014 without juddering all the time.
I have spotted a laptop I like and I would wonder if somebody who is knowledgeable on both...
I really like the SWT livery in the 450's but don't like the one on the 444's/junipers etc.
Southern is a lovely livery and that class 73 they have recently done looks brilliant in it
Never liked the rail freight grey.... Found everything to be a bit dull and boring in that.
I like to...
Except..... Not the one I'm sure you all first thought of.
I am looking into buying a model of an MLV class 419. My mate told me I should paint it Royal Mail livery and stage a mock up of it being robbed.
I was puzzled by this, I'm well aware of the famous mr Biggs and his crew, but I had...
James, it was first group I tried to go through. I worked for them as a driver and after a good few years of doing all the favours I could for them I approached them to see if I could transfer to the states.
After a lot of leg work on my part, the gaffers this end gave the ok, however, across...
I was going to suggest voluntary work, maybe even at local privatised railway so although it's not mainline certified at least you could be getting a knowledge of vehicles and the mechanics behind certain locos?
Is there anything the armed forces can offer in the way of training with regards...
Good luck aivlio, I don't know about transferring driver skills but when I wasted to head across the pond, even with a work sponsor it was so much hassle to go through proceedings for a green card.
In the end I decided it wasn't worth it and stayed in the uk, but I just though I'd mention the...
I see a lot of sport talk on here so thought I might start a thread that has sparked my interest
We have all seen the incident at the World Cup (even none football fans have had to watch it in the news) but now he has just been made the 3rd most expensive footballer in history to date..... So...
Spitting is disgusting, when I see kids walking along the street doing it, even when I see footballers doing it, I think to myself who actually thinks that's a well mannered approach to life.
Spitting at others deliberately, that is a whole different level, that's just barbaric, animal...
I thought network rail did run it's own trains. All those hideous yellow things I keep seeing around the place (the class 31 in particular looks rather ugly!) are they not actually run by network rail then??... Confused!!... Sorry, still a novice to this rail enthusiast thing
Hi, it's a bit long ago since I was on that line, but when it was midland mainline I had a similar problem (forget what they referred to it as back then) but I complained direct to the company and got a free £10 voucher for my next journey.
Not sure how EMT fairs compared to midland mainline...
Sorry, could someone explain to me what westinghouse is please? I'm only a simpleton when it come to railway knowledge but I'm trying to understand more!
I'm sure it was mini lad, no one wanted to see that happen at Chester. I'll give an example of when I know the brakes must have not worked as well on a voyager. I was on Stafford station one night spotting some freight (probably about a year ago?!) and a voyager turned up (wasn't timetabled so...
I found the documentary to be very enjoyable. Felt sorry for the old chap put on a route not familiar to his usual surroundings, would have really worried taking a double decker down some of those roads!.
Looking forward to next weeks episode already :-)
I always find people don't distinguish between coach, bus, they just lump them all I together.
Shame though, I'd love to see a documentary on national express, I think they are a fascinating company.
Very much liking the new channel 5 documentary for now though!
