At new street we are told to accept a single yellow onto a platform with a 6 or 8 car that will not fit as we may then get position lights on the red signal so we can draw up to the other train in the section and be accomodated.
But yes, sometimes will be met by a red and have to ring signaller...
My lad just failed the tests but no feedback on why.
Thinks that it was the tct as counted the wrong travel card being listed on the ticket as a error,plus the travel card was not valid at that time as an error.
I am thinking he should of just counted it as one.
Oh well can try again after 6 months
On this test if the discount cards dont match then its obviuosly a fault.
If cards match but its not valid at that time then again obviously a fault.
My question is as its not made clear is if discount card is wrong but also would of not been valid due to time would that count as one fault or two?
I know unofficially that most the time if you ask nicely it is allowed but officially does anybody think this will ever change as in most locations staff from various toc`s use each others trains .
Yes they are deffered, just use the term frozen as no longer paying in.
