Man electrocuted and burned at Birmingham new street

He climbed on top of a 323. As a driver who was on duty at that time I can confirm such.

    Application expiry

Nine month time limit? Hmm. Put it one way - I applied for a Trainee Train Driver role in April 2013. I started on Monday, September 5 2016. Quite a wait! I am not sure if there are many differences within TOCs and trades but keep the faith! It's worth it in the end.

Trainee Train Driver - London Midland

New street. Originally applied for wolves but was told that it would be a longer wait and was given the option to change to brum, no brainer really.

Trainee Train Driver - London Midland

Just a quick note for people who seem rather impatient. Please see enclosed. I applied for a role as trainee train driver in May 2013, I start tomorrow (Sep 5th). I seem to have done it the hard way, but be patient, good things come to those who wait. And pass the tests. Twice.

Trainee Train Driver - London Midland

How long does it normally take from medical to hearing - one way or the other? I got signed off as fit at the medical but as there have been other TOC applicants that have had problem with false positives (poppy seed rolls, co-codamol etc) do they get in contact quickly if there is a false...

Does anyone know how long it takes from medical to contract? I've stayed off the horse tranquilizers long enough to stop piddling green fluid....

Trainee Train Driver - London Midland

May 2013 I applied for LM, medical very soon. Once I have had my contract I may well tell my rather protracted story for those who may be interested (or those with insomnia). Stay patient!

Drugs test , further testing , false positive

I recently passed my medical for my current non rail job, I believe these are set to NHS standards. Do the private medicals work to the same sensitivity levels? I'm not worried either way but if this is the case then my upcoming medical for LM will be a doddle :D
