Stream Dreams never had any involvement at all. What actually happened was Steam Dreams had their own forum, had a legal scare arising from it and then Glyn decided to start his own forum and Nat Pres was born.
As you say sadly he passed away but is very much missed.
Martin, that isn’t true at all. There is no rivalry and Nat Pres, Rail Forums and WNXX aren’t competitors but rather complement each other.
We actually have good relationships and it’s absolutely fine to discuss either of the other forums on Nat Pres. A good example is when the server issue...
Try deleting the website data for national-preservation.com as it’s working fine this end. If you don’t know how to do it send me a message and I’ll guide you through.
You don’t need to delete your whole browsing cache. If you let me know which browser you are using, I can guide you with the right steps if you are not sure how to do this but you need to delete the website data for specifically Nat Pres which should cure your issue but preserve the passwords...

Indeed the GW150 Exhibition train did visit along with Iron Duke although by then the connection at Middle Forge was in place and 5541 did the honours of hauling the train up from Lydney.
The Dean forest did the same before they owned the branch itself, firstly with moving the stock from Parkend to Norchard, then also making use of the slew for trains of spent ballast around 1980.
Not sure where you got 7802 moving to Kidderminster from, at the moment that’s not the plan as there are still a few jobs to complete which will be done at Bridgnorth.
For the moment 75069 will be the sole steam locomotive available at the southern end.

The second trip from Birmingham is available to book on the website, it is sold with an afternoon tea in standard class so although you can’t just go for a ride the option is available. Looking at it the first couple are sold out so seems to be popular option.
We are aware of an issue with emails from the Forum to Microsoft-based email accounts (hotmail/outlook/live.com email addresses). This is being looked into currently, thanks for your patience meanwhile.
