Indeed. Byelaws prosecutuon for smoking? It's absolutely normal for staff to turn a blind eye. Once I saw someone blantantly smoking in the Birmingham New Street platform and reported that to a member staff standing on the same platform. What he did? Absolutely nothing.
Surely not the first and not the last 150 on that service. I remember once taking last 175 Manchester to Cardiff Central service of the day and then at Shrewsbury all remaining passengers were asked to change to 150. And 15 minutes after train departed and were running its full possible speed...
On my very first time of using a train in Poland, I confused types of tickets and got to TLK train instead of Regio. Lady who was doing ticket check was extremely unhappy with that fact and my basic Polish wasn't helping much with explanation, so she wasn't asking anything apart from telling...

Just a theoretical question, as I cant quite understand how Virgin fits into the picture -- only Virgin route inside Saveaway zone would be Lime Street to Runcorn (which is outside Saveaway Zone) with no actual stops inside the zone -- does that mean that Station A to Runcorn plus All Zone...
