I've lost the website link but, if you google 'Network Rail Redeployment services', it should come up with a .pdf file, it has a load of useful info regarding cover letters and cvs.

I've also received the withdrawal emails for those 2 (I'm expecting Guildford to come up with this, as well). A little disappointed, I had no difficulties with the 4th test. Here's hoping the replacement test is similar.:D

Hey guys, quick question (hopefully LOM can give an insight into this). In the last couple of weeks I've been getting a few rejection emails through. I'm used to the RBI, "more suitable candidate found" letter, but recently I've been getting a "did not meet the required criteria" letter... I...

    A career as a signaller

I'm in a position where I'm able to relocate (without too much trouble), to anywhere in the country for the role (and my application history shows it). I've had a few interviews, but they've mostly been up north (I'm from near portsmouth/southampton area). But every application for Haslemere...

I was really tempted to apply for the NE future opportunities but I ended up withdrawing. I had major problems filling in the application questions, I just couldn't get answers that I was happy or confident with.

Hey guys. Swindon Panel Society have just put up an excellent live video on how their panel works. It's worth a look, for those who are new to the signaller job hunt. (although, if you're reading this in future, it may take some searching for the video). https://www.facebook.com/swindonpanel

I learned on my 1st app. By the 2nd page of questions, I was done with having to retype everything... Also, it makes later apps go MUCH quicker!

Network Rail have a CV writing resource online. https://www.networkrail.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/Redeployment-Services-CV-writing-.pdf

NR does have an additional resource online for tailoring your CV for the role. I don't have the link, but it is a couple of pages back. Alternatively, google: Network Rail Redeployment Services and look for a .pdf file for CV writing.

Hey guys. I had an interview for Crewe/Chester future opportunities, a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, they've withdrawn the role. :'( I am currently under consideration for assessment 2, for Whitehaven. I've also noticed that the vacancies for Chinley where due to close on 27th march, but...

Hey everyone. I was at the york assessment, but didn't get through (well done to everyone who did), right before having a trip out of country for a few days... I've now been invited to interview at Crewe, the day before I head away again... If I don't get this one, I know what I have to do to...

Hey guys. I've just taken a trip up to Didcot Railway Centre, to have a look at the Swindon Panel where they have a simulation set up. I thought I'd only be there for an hour or so... 5 hours later... Definatwly worth a visit to get more of a feel for the operation of a PSB.

Hey guys, quick (and possibly stupid) question... I'm used to seeing applications with the status "application under consideration", but I've just applied to the 2 new vacancies in the Derby area. I recieved the standard receipt emails, but the attachments were a different format or corrupted...
