Hiya,
Feel free to phone Jane or Claire on 0208 665 9695 and ask them. I no longer work there (long story) but it's a good job with nice people, they won't mind a quick phone call and it'll save you going mad.
Thanks everyone. I'll commute from where I am at the moment but I feel a lot more comfortable now that I have other options and possibilities to consider.
Looking forward to starting! x
Absolutely. When it opens later this year it'll be ideal but I'll still be further east than I'd have liked. I have been looking at Broxbourne and Cheshunt but they're about 50 miles from where my other half lives : (
Thank you all for your suggestions. I've spent the weekend with train maps spread out all over the place and my new best friends Nationalrail.co.uk and TfL.gov.uk
I've managed to come up with these place which stop at Finsbury Park, change for the underground to Tottenham Hale and then train...
I'll be starting a new position in a few weeks for Euro* and although I'm thrilled I'm still fighting with season tickets and where I could possibly relocate to.
I want to relocate to somewhere North of London like Welwyn Garden City, Harpenden, Radlett, Stevenage etc I can get to Kings...
Absolutely! I just like to make sure I'm prepared for all the questions about how I would get to work for the shifts.
Fingers crossed, now to learn everything I can about Eurostar.
That sounds like it could be do-able although my cycle skills leave a lot to be desired!
Although the re-opening of Lea Bridge station would be perfect! Train direct from Broxbourne or Cheshunt then a gentle mile long walk and I think we have a winner LOL
I'm due to attend an interview shortly for a position within Eurostar that will be based out of their Temple Mills depot. I want to relocate to an area within Milton Keynes / Bedford / Hertfordshire etc but I'm struggling to work out a travel route.
There doesn't appear to be any real...
Just thought I'd ask what is probably an incredibly stupid question. I failed my previous MMI on one question. I'm due to do it again soon and wondered if I'd have to do the complete MMI over again, or just the one question that I failed on?
Does anyone know?
Hi guys,
I'm in a slightly tricky predicament. I've applied for MTR and GTR.
I took and passed the enhanced tests with MTR as I'd applied to them first and GTR have said they'll wait to see if I get through the MMI before they progress my application.
The tricky bit is that I've got the MMI on...
Can someone clarify which depots this will be based at and if the training is carried out elsewhere ie Ilford?
I'd like to apply but not if I have to live in Ilford / Stratford during training. Thank you.
