Different Driver Depot, Route and Traction cards

You will be granted access to Track Access which will have all of that.

Train drivers will finally have access to toilets

I was going to reply similar, those extra hours won’t just magic out of nowhere, you’ll still have your maximum working week/roster. So what you described will turn into some of those trips being work to the middle point; then work a return service back.

Greater Anglia vs. South Western Railway

Not sure if this will help or not, but additional London allowances will put the SWR total salary to around 82.5k.

Sunday Work - A New Honesty?

Did it not already? Over the last 2 years? There always will be a “storm” anyway at some point, if we’re going to use the metaphor in technical terms, you just have to prepare for it and ensure you have all the tools to get through to the other side :)

    SWR Driver Manager Salisbury/Basingstoke

Would you happen to know about allowances? For example would Wat/Wim DM’s get the same London/retention allowances as drivers?

    SWR Driver Manager Salisbury/Basingstoke

In addition, is retention and outer London allowances included same as drivers?

Do ScotRail take on qualified drivers ?

Definetely known of drivers who have gone there, it may be a case of contacting recruitment directly and going from there.

Class 701 'Aventra' trains for South Western Railway: progress updates

Their contract has been changed regardless anyway, should the company want to convert the class 450/444 to driver open and close at any point then they can without negotiation. Same goes for any other stock.

    Assessments & Medicals discussion

So because you took the test within the last 6 months you cannot retake it, your current pass result with EMR is not high enough for WMT’s enhanced standard, and since you cannot retake within 6 months; they cannot proceed any further with your application. This is probably a better explanation...

Elizabeth Line moving with no driver at Paddington

It sort of makes sense in that the driver is supposed to leave the cab, so DRA should be set.

ARL / Overground - Qualified Train Drivers - Willesden Junction (30/09/24)

So, just to clarify with that 34hr week. Yes it is less then most TOCS, but I think it’s important to clarify that the work is absolutely condensed. For example where you might have an 8.30 diagram; you are literally non stop for all of it bar a 45min-1hr break. Other TOCS might be an 9.30 or...

    Southeastern Grove Park Depot

A waterloo driver was already on circa 73k (all allowances included which is what I was alluding to as I prefer to state the full figure). But yes base salary probably will be roundabouts what you stated I imagine.

ARL / Overground - Qualified Train Drivers - Willesden Junction (30/09/24)

Probably around 1-2 years for Chingford.

ARL / Overground - Qualified Train Drivers - Willesden Junction (30/09/24)

He meant the “DC link” at Willesden rather than actual Watford depot per se.

ARL / Overground - Qualified Train Drivers - Willesden Junction (30/09/24)

Extra route to sign, better work as the Watford/Euston DC is less intense compared to the NLL, shorter job also usually etc etc
