Few things surprised me.
Knowledge of the railway being Optional vice Core. Railway knowledge is essential if you are going to dispute incidents etc
CCF has been replaced by TMV for awhile.
I find this hard to acknowledge. At the end of the day these are assets. There will be records of what they have or haven't got. I'd be very worried how these railways use donations if they can't provide a basic asset list.

I am not surprised. There's been a lot of orders for brand new buses in the last 5-8 years. Unheard off for Blackpool. Traditionally BTS has traded in the 2nd hand market to balance the books.
Limited maintenance can be done at Starr Gate. Apart from that, the tram would have to be sent by road to a workshop somewhere.

The company will have preferred chain to stay with in the big towns and cities. Other hotels will be looked at in remote areas. Smaller companies will use a company credit card and the big ones will have centralised accounts to book with.
