Yes. November 2018 I was successful for a FOC, and awaiting my medical date. They subsequently lost the contract that was the bulk of the depots work... "we'll put you in a pool".
Nigh on 3 years later I am driving for the firm that won the contract, same depot.

There was a meeting of the trustees on July 22nd as to whether new members could join the RPS. If they agree the changes the earliest they could be implemented is September 1st.

Not wanting to take this off topic too much but I am interested to hear more about the pension situation. Have DB closed the final salary pension to new starters or has nothing been decided yet? What is the new pension that is being offered?

Not that I doubt you, train_lover. But just to add something else to the mix, I had my interview for WSB in December and recieved a call from HR saying I had passed, but that vacancies had been put on hold until they had more work (this news coming the same day as FL announced Mendip contract...

Was informed of being put in to a talent pool until "we win more work" - which is perfectly understandable I hasten to add. I would assume current DB dvrs at Westbury may well be TUPE'd.
