I saw a passenger-carrying LO DMU (a Goblin train) on the middle platform at Willesden Junction low level yesterday (Friday). It was about 9am and it was terminating. Is that a normal service? Any idea what the route is?
I tried to buy a Z1-4 annual last month and there was no option on the ticket machine. Actually I seem to remember there was no option for any annuals on the machine. Maybe it's just some stations' machines that have been changed. Would QBMs allow it while older machines wouldn't?

So they do two things, they dispense de-icing fluid (on the 3rd and 4th rail?) and sweep the tracks. That must be the sound I hear as they come into the platform.
