Did you actually appeal online. If so check your emails and maybe chase them up to find out what they did/ask them to send you copies of any previous letters. As Furlong said it's important to know exactly what had happened to any appeal as they maybe barred from prosecuting you.

Well the accusations relate to refunded tickets and short-faring. So Have you had tickets refunded for journeys that you have taken? Have you bought tickets that don't cover the full length of the journey you took? No one can really advise unless you answer the above two questions.
