You have to get off at Brussels go through security and get on the next Eurostar, the one you arrived on from Amsterdam will goto London but not with you on board - I assume it's running purely as a Brussels - London service from there

I don't believe there will be a requirement to de-train in Brussels on the return journey

Thanks for that. The only issue with the FCC option, is that I am meeting some others on the train at Clapham - so I will just swallow the extra cost this time, plus the Southern train will be quicker. Cheers
