Regular Double Headers
Definitely remember being on some double 31's on Barrow - Lancaster leg of Barrow to London Train in the 80's. An 86 or 87 would take over at Lancaster- Trials

Flooding: 26th October - Stafford - Stoke and the North West of England
I was on the 17.30 Euston to Glasgow, the train terminated at Stafford, Train Manager advised that no onward transport could be provided and all hotels are booked up in Stafford area, was advised train would run to Birmingham N S and if we could get a hotel there to keep all receipts and claim...- Trials

Can someone give me some more info on this. Heard it rattle through Roose at 19.35, sounded like 2 x 37s. When I looked at Real Time Trains it goes completely round the houses and gets to Blackpool about 5am!- Trials
