Quick question regarding the ATAVT. Do zebra crossings count as road signs? The ones with a lollipop on either side of the road? The practice materials I’ve got have them in it. Not even sure if the real thing does, be good to know if they do count. I’m assuming yes as I type this tbh, as they...

I have a questions regarding the Unity practice software. Levels of difficulty compared to the real thing. Tea-Occ - Are there more tones than those on the real thing and are they closer together? I’ve sat and passed it before (having to redo as they’re soon to expire) I don’t remember it...

Ok thanks for that, it’s good to know. If it’s possible to get to the bottom of the directory in the allotted time, would you think we’re marked down for any not ticked ? Marked down more for any missed in the sequence, ie a missed one midway then carry on ticking the rest?

Regarding Tea-Occ test, on the third part - ‘beeps and directory’, is there much of a gap in between each set of beeps, if so is the length of the gap uniform? eg 5 seconds every time? Or is it randomised? Is there opportunity to blast through the directory, ticking off answers, during said gap...

Can anyone recommend materials for Trp1 please? Possibly a book from somewhere like Amazon on adult comprehension tests? I want to work out if I’ll perform better if I make notes and then spend the rest of the time after the audio is finished by rereading my own notes or reading the passage...

Ok thank you. So if it’s A3 it’s likely to be more clusters per row than the 15 I’ve been doing in practice

Ok thanks for your reply. So to clarify, working left to right how many clusters are in each row? How many top to bottom?

How many clusters of dots per line are there in the dot test please? The practice material I’ve got have 15 clusters per line. I’ve since found practice material with 25 clusters per line. I don’t want to be under a false sense of security and get a nasty shock on the day. It relates to the...

Can anyone shed some light on the Trp1b test please? Or rather, the new version? I’m aware that the Glop test is no more. Is it something to do with the train braking system now? Similar format to the Glop test but obviously a different passage and questions? Is it the same level of difficulty...

Transport for Wales - Conductor Recruitment and Discussion

Does anyone know when TfW will advertise for Manchester Piccadilly conductors? I’m a qualified conductor of 7 years. I would be willing to start as a trainee if necessary

Something has grabbed my attention in the practice materials. I’ve just been giving them a thorough read. It states in the bullet pointed list under the heading, ‘During the computer tests’ ‘• Work as quickly and as accurately as you can.’ Then further down the list of bullet points it says...
