Sure did, I was driving it. At caution between Strines and New Mills. Everything following went via Hazel Grove as pilotman was brought in for the new Mills service around 8am.

Glad i read this just checked and i had a missed call on friday which i didnt recognise the number, turns out they left me a voicemail message so i need to email them back. Did you get any further info about dates for an assessment day?

yeah there does seem to be quite a few i know of some myself that left my depot, i should have done it years ago really, have tried for train driving twice in the last 2 years, one knockback from northern at application stage but passed assessments with first tpe though didnt get through to next...

i had an email last week saying i was unsuccesful, i thought it was from northern then realised it was DBS. I applied sometime around last summer June or July was so long ago i had forgotten all about it, enjoy the wait!

Thats what im hoping for, i have applied before and didnt get past the initial sift but had the no thanks after around 3-4 weeks so its slightly more encouraging, i also sat stage 1 assessments last year for another TOC and passed but was put on hold and then heard nothing, its a slow process!

Are you a current employee? Im hoping to attend but will only have an hour or so as i start work at half 12, will be there first thing at 11 but will i have enough time to make good use of the event?
