Yup, got an email today. But I would stress I didn't even get through shortlisting so don't take it that everyone is binned.

Just heard that all the posts at Bristol have been filled. Not sure what that means for those going through the process, I wish you all the very best of luck. I hadn't even got through the short listing stage due to a last minute application.

Just picked up a standard FGW HR email about applying for a role as depot driver at Old Oak Common. It says that after 18 months there would be the chance to go mainline. Too far away for me but might suit somebody?

Please excuse the lame/desperate question but on my application I put Chippenham as my nearest station (25 minutes) and I live about 50 minutes from Bristol TM. Reading the Forum, i now realise Westbury is a significant station and I only live 15 minutes from there. Is it worth calling and...

For those still waiting (me included) I only got the latest update email 10 mins ago so if you haven't had the one from HR then don't worry it will be on its way hopefully (I am not an expert, know nobody in HR and have been known to be 100% optimistic).
