Why do you want to become a train driver......don't say for the money.
The tests take care of all the rest....concentration, learning, etc...They want to know why you applied for it and do you have enough common sense to at least try for the tests.
Just because you worked alone, needed to...
If you think about logically..what are they looking for? Good communicator, loyal worker, certain level of intelligence, good common sense, mature, responsible...I know that takes out about 99% of people. (especially the young uns) but you get my drift?
Why do you REALLY want to be a train...
I think they put all the names that pass into a hat and pick 10 out....It's probably as simple as that! It's an employees market. They can pick and choose out of 400 applicants. It will only get tougher
The thing is i do not think i would pass all this now.I do not know it is purely down to lack of practice....or age. But my concentration is no what it was. I know that for certain.
OK define "attitude"
Is it the way you walk, talk, act., look, live...?
Is it possible one person could take your friendly "attitude" as cocky? Are they trained in human behaviour/ psychology? Trouble when you bring human psychology, judgement and "gut feel" into it you are just as likely to...
Such a B*S* question really. I mean every emergency is different....as long as you apply common sense. It is one of those questions they can fail or pass you on whether they want to or not.
That's the ting they do not give any feedback..you are left scratching your head and wondering what it was...
They should have to give the reason why....then it stops all the "conspiracy" theories. If you failed you failed fair enough but at least tell them why.
