That's cutting things a bit fine considering they want you to start in November. Are they expecting you to leave your old job without making you an offer of employment? My money is on them ****ing everyone over.

They told me it was 5 years to full salary when I asked during my structured interview. 27k start then 3k increments to 5year point when full salary would begin. They might not have been right though. The other forum makes DRS sound like a terrible place to work

I just had a phone call and was invited to the full assessment on the 19th September in Watford. Congratulations to other successful candidates.

Sorry, I only did the interview stage, not the assessment stage, about which I have no information.

I had mine today, it wasn't that bad at all. They told me they were concerned I would get bored and have an accident through complacency but was otherwise a good candidate. So I doubt I'll get a call back.

Are you glad you drive trains? Or do you wish yourself out of it?

Are drivers controlled by drivers hours in the same manner as road haul drivers? How often do you stop for a break? What do you do if you need to use the bathroom?
