Caught using younger brothers 11-15 Zip Card

One thought I had would be as this is a first offence within TfL and how they don’t accept payment of fares and administration costs, would be to offer a payment to a charity that TFL would accept as a lesson in lieu of proceeding to court, and as part of receiving a final warning. This would...

Need Advice! Short faring into Farringdon

If you work with Gtr they never ever take you to court. So please engage with them ! You need to get a hold of the letter when they send it to you so that you can answer their queries, but there won’t be any need to use solicitors to get a settlement from Gtr.

    Misuse of student oystercard

Why are you asking for a settlement? TfL never settle out of court. You will either receive a final warning, or it will go to court. You will not be given the option to pay a settlement. The verification letter is an opportunity for you to put forward any options to Mitigate. I do t feel...

You weren’t stopped and you will not be receiving said verification letter. There are millions of user interactions on the system over the...

Seeking anecdotes and guidance on prospects of success of an appeal

Can’t the toc cancel the penalty fare and then go down the line of report for prosecution? Potentially a higher cost? Could be a very costly error to do that.

    Supporting posters

At the end of the day, there are so many examples Of suitable letters on here it surely can not be beyond the Ken of anyone to at least make an attempt at a letter. We can always advise changes to the letter as required but I think at least an attempt from the person is at least reasonable

Advice on heavily delayed 1810 Euston to Birmingham, Sat 6 December

You’ll be entitled to A full refund through delay repay for the journey. I’d then send something through to avanti customer services showing your losses for the day and see if they are willing to provide a gesture of good will. I’ve had them pay me quite nicely before
