I will be installing 2 foundation at Roby next Saturday just off the platform. It will be quite late (02:00 Sunday) of anyone was keen to see how it's done then the platform would provide good viewing.

FYI I am at Roby as I write this message supervising two trial holes cornfield final SSA structures thatveill be located 5m from the face of station road bridge. The two SSA's are being installed to bring the wire in through the bridge. They will be installed within the next 2 weeks or so...

On the 27th December a small team will be entering Sankey Viaduct and carrying out brick repair works. Access will be made by digging down through the ballast to expose the access covers. --- old post above --- --- new post below --- The 26th I mean.

What kind of pictures do you guys want?

As far as motorway bridges go there are 2 between Huyton and Bryn. 1 is the M57 at 0m 75ch and the other being the M6 just before Bryn. The M57 has had 16 stud bolts installed for the steel and the M6 has had 32 installed.

I installed the stud bolts on the M57.

Foundation works to Sankey will be carried out tonight using RRV's. They will then have to wait until next Saturday when possessions resume on the DSE lines .

Foundation works on Carr Mill will be commencing this coming week. --- old post above --- --- new post below --- M57 motorway will have road closures in place tommorow evening whilst works are carried out also.

Works will take around 4 months to complete.

Scaffolding works for Sankey and Carr Mill started yesterday.
