1. Will it be possible to implement power sockets in this upgrade?
2. I wonder if they'll remove the second first class section from the 12-cars? Not much point upgrading an area which is essentially standard class half the time.
Curious -- the use of iterative designs to perfect RA2 over many years seems an inefficient way to do it. In previous large-scale rebrands, has anything similar been seen? Or is this just pure incapability?
I agree that Birmingham International should be renamed to Birmingham Airport. If that happens, then I think "Birmingham Interchange" would be fine -- avoids the two Birmingham Ints.
My more controversial view is to call the HS2 station "Birmingham Airport (Highspeed)", but I realise that won't...
Apologies if this has been discussed before, I'm happy to be pointed towards the requisite thread.
Once GBR is fully rolled out, would there be utility in differentiating the different types of First Class offerings? For instance, if GBR does keep 1st on commuter/regional trains, it's clearly...
The noise used to be much worse with the Class 319s -- especially from inside the train. The new trains have much better insulation (and, I suppose, no opening windows).
Declassified back-1st-class is a god-send because it's the only place on the train with power sockets... (except those dubious ones at certain places in standard they don't like you using).
I hope we don't have "South Western" and "South East" --> please please let there be some rationality regarding the use of -ern suffixes. I presume this was an error.
