Anyone that has completed them can you shed some light on what the two tests are at the early stage? Seems different to when I applied and attempting to help a friend. The two tests are: Apprentice Job-Focused Assessment and spatial ability test. What do they get you doing? Cheers

Must be mate, I got a call from them yesterday asking if I could start Monday so maybe your group has had a drop out? On holiday so I can’t unfortunately but looking forward to the 19th regardless!

Had an email from the training centre yesterday, all looks great. Induction week 19th then into the rules the week after. Any golfers on the June course? Thinking of taking my clubs but don’t want to be the only one rocking up with them

Yeah my notice went in a couple weeks back. Spoke to Andy, he said the training centre will be in touch with us closer to the start date with information

Had it confirmed today from FL that further Birmingham depot courses are “highly unlikely” this year. Looks like that’s made my decision easier, shame really…

Yeah I’ve heard similar. I’ve emailed their HR as I’ve had an offer from XC for a June course so seeing what the options are. I’ll let you guys know if I hear back

Yeah had mine Friday in the end, sent everything back as well, awaiting medical dates

I know a couple guys who already work there and this is what they’ve heard. Hopefully they’re wrong

Just had the good news that I’ve passed my DMI for Birmingham and would be looking at a June start. I’ve already passed my OPC testing so hopefully it’ll just be a medical.

Spot on, went straight to DMI with XC and been semi offered a June course, so a decision to be made now. Wait for FL or go with XC

Yeah, frustrating. Got my XC interview next week so just throws abit of a spanner in the works
