If I remember correctly, when GA first started Hare fares promotions London to Norwich was £24 and that was what a couple of years ago? I was surprised to see it’s now £40 which I guess is still good value if you don’t have a railcard.
I don’t think it’s a risk, however small, that GWR are prepared to take.
There's still the bi-hourly semi fasts to Exeter/Paignton/Plymouth starting at Reading with a change at either Exeter or Plymouth for those travelling to Cornwall.
Because you can guarantee that it will be abused by those wishing to travel between London and Reading only like current pick up only at Reading that originate at Paddington are.
Services up to and including Friday 3rd of January are now showing on RTT. No trains serving Westbury, only buses. What happens after that, we’ll have to wait till further times are uploaded.
They are rare as hen’s teeth it must be said and very hit and miss that the First class host have them. Had a choice from three fillings on a train from Paddington to the South West a few weeks back so they are still around.
They are the same brand of sandwiches offered to First class...
If this article is correct there will be NO GWR services after mid May:

Apologies - already being discussed here...
There’s one gap Paddington to Swansea and two gaps between Swansea to Paddington in the hourly service where the Pembroke Coast Express and afternoon return to London journeys would be so I suspect timings or whether these services actually run to from Pembrokeshire still TBC.
Not only that the 1403 and 1603 PAD-PNZ have gone on an already badly affected timetable along with some of the Bristols. Great start to the new timetable. Thoughts with those trying to travel on the GW lines today.
