LOL! It's all about aptitude & competency! I've seen a few bus drivers during my interview who didn't do soo well.... Bus driving only covers a few of the skills required so you really have to demonstrate how you fit the role.

Yes you can mate so don't wait! Only LOROL & MTR require the VSE but it's not a requirement set by RSSB so if you've passed all the other tests then you've passed the "Trainee Train Driver Psychometric Tests".

Too right! I was very tempted to get the "How to become a Train Driver" collection but I managed to find everything I needed here (RailUKForums)! I've since been offered a driver position and I'm still going for another interview next week! It all comes down to how much research your willing...
