Bit of a late update, but WoE services West of Salisbury back to normal as of Sunday 1st February.

There’s a couple of areas West of Salisbury that are prone to flooding and/or landslips; Feniton to Cranbrook and around Axminster and Crewkerne for example. Work has been done over the years but it seems the weather keeps levelling up…

If you’re referring to the SWR WoE line, if the flooding is bad enough on the levels then the amount of rain will likely have been enough to possibly affect that route too (as happened the other day during the worst of the rain). And unfortunately the signalling issues at Salisbury still aren’t...

Ongoing signalling issues Salisbury area today (29th Jan); a reduced service is operating between Salisbury and Exeter until further notice. Unclear at present whether this is will stretch beyond today.
