well after passing the tests 2 years ago and being interviewed and unsuccessful and being held in a talent pool for 2 years then being called up just over a week ago for another interview finally at my local depot i have just received an email to say i was unsuccessful..gutted.

@cheggers not sure i'm sure its about the same as what im on now while training 20-21,000? then i think 2 years ago the saary was 27000 but with wages rises its prob about 28-29000 after training now? i also had mine at 102 with the two guys you did though i had to wait 45 minutes for them...

Hi i have finally received an invite for an interview after waiting 2 years in a pool after passing tests etc. Can anyone help me out with the interview as this my weak point , been in same job now 13 years not been to any interviews at all since!

I applied for London Midland guard bout a year ago in west mids still in the pool Though I see many new guards about for them in west mids don't put your life on hold I say

I'm from west mids , passed the online test for this vacancy ,I have also passed tests for guard vacancy with l'm and on waiting list , this job appeals to me much more I have yet to receive anything in post though

After a few emails to London midland recruitment they told me I'm number 71 on the list ... There is an intake for west kids region in September 2013 , jan 2014 and march 2014 with a grand total of 32 positions... Basically I don't stand a chance , just wish they told me that last year

i have not even had a medical though? i email them now and again asking a question to make sure they don't forget me but after reading some posts on here I feel i;m clutching at straws a bit hoping they will get in touch about a job

I haven't had a medical either but that's the easy bit I don't think it's right for them to tell people there first in line for a job if they have no intention of taking them on? Surely the talent pool so to speak saves them the time and effort of advertising jobs , holding assessments and so...
