Indeed - as usual for a new concept there's no official data for it so everyone has to do their own thing. There's a lot of that already.
The data says that reservation is required because the fare can vary, like an Advance. The trial routes are launching soon, so we shouldn't have long to wait...
I don't think this is a public/private thing. XC can sell tickets (private) but not run trains (private). Of course, it's easier to sell a ticket, and presumably everything for that is cloud-hosted, but then so could/should be all they need for a Control. You have to have a Disaster Recovery...
I'd cut the "next stop -" as well, TfL (and RATP) style. No need for anything more than that unless something out of the ordinary happens. At least buses are currently beyond the reach of BTP sorting. I have been on a Stagecoach bus recently with the irritating (and delaying) stay in your seat...
 perhaps those out-buildings should be renamed Waterloo (West) to avoid any confusion. Platforms A-X.
SEML also has breweries under it, oast houses, a majestic viaduct at Folkestone, the tunnels, cliffs and sea view on the way to Dover... It has it all!
Beautiful views crossing the Medway, and if crossing the channel the Ashford roller-coaster makes up a bit for the horrors of security and Brexit.
And it has to be at the top for reliability. All at a speed that means it doesn't overstay its welcome
Not even that option any more for most (may even have gone already). It's not good enough, and no bulletin has yet been created to explain the situation to customers :(
I think it will be that Streatham Common (for instance) is a via location not an origin or destination, so it traps many more journeys than expected. There are also problems at the "Arun Valley" (or not) end. At work RDG had already enquired about a different journey affected by this easement...
Sorry, in my head it was a London to Folkestone ticket. Probably because I buy a lot of those. I think the Elizabeth line might be more trouble than via St Pancras, because of the lack of a +
Very good advice!
Via central London though? I'd have thought that the ticket would only get you to Victoria, Charing Cross, etc., or through Thameslink to St Pancras, if on the "historic" route
Edit: nonsense, see below :D
I'd say it does, because GB is the ISO-3166-1 2-letter country code for the whole United Kingdom. A good question is what would be done in NI, where that would be controversial - but entirely correct. The .uk domain for internet addresses, which would usually be that code, is by special...
The Any Permitted is - as you say - the route, it has no effect on the usual Advance ticket conditions. In my limited experience Southeastern used to be a bit lenient about which train to catch, but I think now that they have more and more price levels and seem committed to the idea, those days...
There are quite a few journeys only valid because they are the shortest. Isn't this just another one of those? Where not the shortest, it's an interesting idea that a Maltese Cross should automatically allow the London routeing point group. Also I suppose any fare specifically via London. Given...
