Not too sure about the plane landing short thing. I work at UTC Aerospace Systems, Marston Green - which is situated on the northern end of the runway. According to our EH&S advisor, any time a plane has informed the ATC that there may be complications with landing, our site is always evacuated...
Hi, i'm fairly new to all of this. By 'neutral' section, do you mean when all of a sudden you hear the heating/air con turn off for a few seconds randomly?
If so, could you briefly explain what this is please?
Not sure about the lat question but from my experience the class 350's definitely accelerate faster than the 323.
The 350's also have a much better ride.
Whilst sitting in the car park at work, i noticed 2 London Midland class 350's joined together to form an 8 car train go over the bridge which can be seen from the car park. This bridge is situated between Lea Hall and Marston Green. I saw this train go past at 15:28 and on the front half, the...

After driving by my house earlier tonight, i saw a train go over the bridge between lea hall and marston green train station, it was very long and seemed to be formed of Mk3 coaches. this is very odd for this line as the only Mk3 coaches i have ever saw on this line was a pretendolino once...
Whenever i go to North Wales, i get to travel on the class 175.
They have:
good looks
high speed
plenty of seats
extremely comfortable
They are definitely my favourite DMU.
London Midlands operate class 350s where i live. They are very nice trains but i believe it won't be enough to stop overcrowding, if they ran them in 8-car format it most certainly would be, but the 350s get pretty crowded sometimes over here.
(they're still my favourite train though :P)
