In situations like this, when the trespassers are unco-operative, could police marksmen not use tranquilizer darts? It would avoid the "suicide by cop" scenario. I expect that when the individual is presented with the invoice for the delay they will feel suicidal again.

Thank you for informing me of the timing details of the 565 Special. National Rail Enquiries is still showing buses replacing trains between Newport and Cardiff Central on Saturday and Sunday.

The above is due to go from Carnforth to Carmarthen, out via Hereford and return via the Heart of Wales line. National Rail Enquiries says the line is closed between Newport and Cardiff Central for engineering work and buses are replacing trains. What is the present situation re the 565 Special?
