Two perceived reason a) people naturally expect weekends to be busier b) people tend to start holidays on a Friday or Saturday and take time to settle in or assume point a)

VOR is an hour's drive from Tywyn, nearly two from Porthmadog and nearly an hour from Welshpool. That's rather a large area that is 'saturated'...! :)

Certainly from the perspective of the VOR, the Permaquip fits the bill. A mobile hut on wheels, providing mobility, access and storage, which is what the P-way team need, I would think.
