I too received the emails about start date and accommodation and I still haven't had my medical yet! Have been told that it will happen in the week prior to starting, really hope they can let me know on the day as it is all so close now, can you guys tell me where you went for your medicals?

happy new year to you lets hope 2014 is a good one, just wondered if you had heard anything about where to go and when for our first day with colas, all I have been told is that we start on the 13th jan and training is in crewe, no address, contact details,travel arrangements or hotel stuff...

good luck with SWT, I took my asessments with them in may 2012,passed them all and i'm still on the shortlist, have recently been offered a position with another company however.

surprised cause there were many people, or because there were not many people???

not sure about the process with assessments etc for this role, but when I went for interview with them for a driver position, they called it the first interview purely because it is an interview to work for the first group not as in the first of many interviews!!

congrats Puremetal, and good luck with the course ,very envious as I'm still waiting for any news from the manager interview !! phoning the HR people every week but they don't tell me either way if I have been successful or not.

was the hearing test beeps of different tones played progressively quieter through headphones like it is at a hospital or doctors??

yeah didn't hear anything today either, so I gave them a call and they said they were still going through the paperwork from the interviews, seems odd though because some others have had provisional offers and medical dates set, but at least it isn't a no yet so i shall keep hoping for the best...

well done to you, gutted that I still havent heard anything though so guessing it is not good news, dont think the fact that I would have to relocate helped me much at the interview

they said it would probably be around a month before they start offering contracts subject to medicals

yeah about 2 and 3/4 hours of interview some is quite similar to CBI but some is learning a little more about the job and a little less formal, good luck with yours !!

I am still awaiting shortlisting from then too, but have been to assessments 1 & 2 plus DM interview from the latest application in may!! go figure
