Ah, thanks! I thought one of them had to be a season ticket. I didn't realise that a daily zonal ticket would be OK. That's great, gives me a lot more options :D

Thanks for your help everyone. I went with the option Hadders outlined.
I ordered online, and couldn't select Boundary Zone 6 as an origin (or destination). So I selected Enfield Lock instead because it's in Zone 6.
Do I therefore need to ensure I am on a train that actually stops at Enfield...
Now that's a good idea :)
Do you have any idea why the Sunday travelcard is cheaper than the Saturday one?
Can I start my journey anywhere within Zones 1-6 on the Saturday?
I'm assuming these prices can all be discounted using my Network Card?
Thank you

Thanks, the thought had occurred to me but I'll have to check how long the non-Zone One journey would take as I need to be at BXB very early :(
Overground from Hackney Downs to Broxbourne - do you mean NR? :)

Hi, I considered that (see my post a little higher up) but the trains from...
Thank you for your reply :)

Evening all :)
This weekend I need to make the following journeys:
Saturday morning: Wimbledon to Broxbourne
Saturday evening: Broxbourne to Hitchin
Sunday evening: Hitchin to Wimbledon
I have a Network Railcard.
Now bear with me, but I've thought about this and here is what I am...

Yesterday I travelled from Wimbledon to Vauxhall via South West Trains, touched out at Vauxhall NR and back in at Vauxhall LU one minute later to get the Victoria Line to Oxford Circus.
Both legs of the journey started before 9.30am (ie...
Oh right, I always thought I'd have to pay the cost of getting from Zone Two to Zone One, if you see what I mean. I think I've completely misunderstood (for the past God knows how many years) how one is charged when travelling outside one's zones... What parameters should I be plugging...
Thanks for your reply. In fact, I had assumed the point-to-point would not be valid on the District Line, but it would be much better for me if it were... let me know what Daniel says!

Thanks. I would have to queue up at Wimbledon Station to set the OEP (the newsagents who do Oyster don't seem to know what one is... grrr...) so wouldn't save much actual time, unfortunately.
I'm not sure if I would save any money, either... it looks like an off-peak single is £2 and I am not...
