Explore Wales pass.

Thinking of getting a 4 in 8 Explore Wales pass for next month anyone know if it is still valid on buses. Visiting Holywell, Ruthin and Mold also if valid on buses how about getting on a bus to these places from Chester? Thanks for any replies
