Hi Furlong, I started my Actual Journey from Exeter St David's. Thanks for your comments. Food for thought. At no point was I rude or swearing, I was just appealing to the guards better nature. I was in beggars belief at the unreasonable actions.

By the time I got to Paddington my Bank transfer had gone through and I looked for the guard to pay the penalty fare however I could not find the Guard and had spoken to someone in the ticket office who couldn't help.

Sorry forgot to mention I was also given a Withdrawn Ticket Receipt.

I travelled on GWR which I have a standard Season Ticket For from St Austell to London Paddington. I got on the train at Exeter and got on at the end of the train where First class is. I was blocked in First class by the buffet car and sat down in First Class, The buffet car was taken forever...
