    Signal berth codes?

At a guess the WON (weekly operating notice) item number. After seeing the news it might be a WON supplement item number instead.

    Signal berth codes?

Drives know their PSRs (permanent speed restrictions) via there route knowledge and will be aware of any TSRs (Temporary speed restrictions) when they sign on duty and read their notices but may not be aware of any ESR (emergency speed restrictions) that can be implemented at any time at short...

Probably an ESR as TSR are published.

Signal areas controlled by NX panels

Not so, the original panel has been extended in length and modified quite a few times since it was installed.

Signal areas controlled by NX panels

If my dates are correct, that’s when panel 7 extended its control down the Arun Valley line to fringe with Arundel Signalbox. Although in recent history panel 5 has had it’s FDM equipment replaced between Keymer Junction and Preston Park and new Bi-directional signalling between Copyhold...

Major rail disruption across Southern England due to radio fault (07/05)

    GTR do not travel 04/02/2026

Remember that trap points are controlled and trap facing movements and catch points are often unworked an catch vehicles running away in the wrong direction so are more likely to be found on gradients. 1770499428 S50 are points controlled by Selhurst Depot Panel.

The area involved, but note it does not show all the lines that are controlled solely by Selhurst Depot Control Panel.

    GTR do not travel 04/02/2026

The Sub Signal on T10 signal only applies for moves towards the limit of shunt on the Down London Bridge fast line and not for any permissive moves. 1770487945 The train derailed off T1521 trap points and of note there are no catch points in the TBASC area of control and maybe not on the whole...

    Signal berth codes?

Or a wrong side failure that’s leads to a set points self normalising or being put to normal under a train. So it will act as a local reminder to the signaller to peg the points reverse until the train movement is conformed clear of the points.

    A career as a signaller

And the same goes for TBASC next door with many staff travelling from points from Hastings, Bognor Regis along the coast as well as North Kent and beyond although many of them got jobs before NR got stricter on travel distance.

Last second platform changes at Gatwick

I’m guessing space and money were the main limiting factors to a total track, signalling and building rebuild.

Which signal is the most frequently passed at danger in the UK?

Delete 1762759070 T22 is a controlled stop signal with an auto facility and can be set into full overlap or restricted overlap. When set in restricted overlap it becomes approach controlled which happens either when trains are crossing up LB fast to Up LB slow or up Crystal Palace Spur whilst...
