I've done Edmonton to Toronto on the ViaRail Canadian, a 3,221 km three days and nights journey - same train, no changes except seven crew changes :wink:

How's the driver training going? For the first time this week I have had a 379 morning and evening (0615, 1655), this morning was back to a 317/7, but I suspect that was because a 379 computer decided to have a lay-in :wink:

Are you on a 379? In which case the driver has 74 lights on the hi vis yellow front of the train, so should go full steam ahead and one toot of the horn to give the trespasser a sporting chance of getting out of the way :-x
