5% for this year and backdated and no changes to T&C's and I will sign happily and get on with it.
Why are the government and the powers not resolving this, what benefit does it have to them to make this go on and on?
Just in general what it is, I have a list of reasons to pass signal at danger but no real explanation as to what it is... At a guess, is it only accepting a train up to a home signal as apposed to up to the section signal?
Hi guys
I have a good idea of the differences between esw and tbw in that esw doesn't have handsignalers etc but one part that confuses me is what happenes so points that need to be secured and green flagged, do they still do that? Do any level crossings have any intermediate handsignalers for...
Group bourdon tests will be done on paper, my advice is to print out some practice tests, it really helped me to get up to the standard. If you can get around 9-11 lines in the time allowed and with no mistakes you should be looking good.
The speed interviews are not till the group assessment days which is the next stage.
Also the test materials they send are not car on copies of what you do on the day just similar.
If you fail any part of the assessment then that's one life gone however remember EMT have an "enhanced standard" at stage one (not stage 2) so you can still technically pass the tests to a national standard and have your lives intact but if u do not reach the enhanced standard then you have...
No problem mate I understand what you mean.
EMT should send out some practice materials for you but beware these materials are not the exact copies of what you'll be doing on the day. To be fair to the opc who run the tests, you do get a lot of explanation on how to do these tasks so you should...
Already been through the process matey!
last time they split the application process into two groups so even though I applied at the same time as others I had to wait until the next year before I took stage 1. Not sure if they'll do it the same way this time. I think you will hear something...
I'm sure I read somewhere (probably this website) in the case of londinmidland there were people in the pool who waited for ages and when it changed to wmr they still took people from that pool. Not sure if it's a sure thing but certainly but at least there's a good chance u will be ok whoever...
Good luck to all who have been shortlisted. As someone who is about to start training I can tell you all the waiting, testing and Interviews are so worth it.
